Guy Halpin

Guy is a Certified Financial Planner® professional with over 14 years’ experience in financial services. Before joining WealthMarc, Guy worked as a Senior Planner within the MLC group. Previous to financial advising Guy managed a team at a leading financial education company in Sydney’s Northern Beaches educating clients about technical analysis, fundamental analysis and derivatives (futures, options, currencies, shares, CFDs).

From 2012 to 2015 Guy was a respected member of the Department of Education and Training and teaching the Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning at Meadowbank TAFE. He was an instrumental part in writing the Diploma and Advanced Diploma course material, assignments and exams.

In 2013 Guy was a committee member in writing the Higher School Certificate (HSC) for the Financial Services examination.

Guy regularly contracts to the Financial Planning Association of Australia (FPA) writing and reviewing course content/assignments/exams. Guy commenced this in 2014.

Guy is married with two young children and enjoys sports including football, cycling, running and spending time at the beach. He completed the Sydney Marathon in 2011 and Sydney Half Marathons in 2012 and 2014.
